The McCaig-Killam Teaching Award is given to an individual for outstanding contributions to teaching and learning at the University of Calgary. The deadline for nominations is August 10, 2016.
Adjudication process
Starting in 2016, adjudication of the McCaig-Killam Teaching Award will be coordinated by the Taylor Institute for Teaching and Learning. The adjudication committee will be chaired by the Vice-Provost (Teaching and Learning) or designate, and consist of two academic staff members, a graduate student, an undergraduate student, and a representative of the Taylor Institute's Educational Development Unit. The adjudication committee will be guided by a rubric drawn from the award criteria.
