The Taylor Institute supports the curriculum review process at the University of Calgary, which helps each program achieve and surpass standards of excellence for students’ learning experiences, and generates an action plan to further enhance the program. The Taylor Institute offers guidance, workshops and consultations on learning outcomes, curriculum mapping and curriculum discussions.
The Taylor Institute collaborates with faculties and departments as needed to develop workshops on teaching and learning topics. We also deliver workshops to interested groups within faculties and departments, as we are able to accommodate requests.
The Taylor Institute collaborates with faculties to analyze and interpret data from the National Survey of Student Engagement. We also facilitate a series of retreats for groups involved in NSSE to share what they learned from the data analysis and how they are moving forward with enhancing student engagement.
