Audioconferencing

content imageAudioconference courses have been offered at the University of Calgary for over 20 years. In using audioconference technology, available in the Teaching & Learning Centre, the University can enhance its learning environment by extending learning opportunities to students and professionals in rural and remote locations or anywhere in the world.

Our facilities include:

  • Bridging capacity for a single conference of up to 70 locations
  • Bridging capacity for multiple conferences of five to 20 locations each
  • Automatic and operator assisted dial-up connection availability
  • Operator assisted sub-groups, monitoring and trouble shooting
  • 3 instructor audio studios
  • An on-campus audio classroom
