CD Front End
In
conjunction with Community Relations and the President's Office, the Learning
Commons has developed a ready-made CD-ROM template for faculty and department
outreach. Each faculty and department on campus has access to this professionally
developed tool. By integrating specific promotional or curriculum-based
materials into the template, a customizable outreach product is created.
These materials can be video, audio, web, or document based.
The Teaching & Learning Centre initially worked with the Graduate Division of Educational Research (GDER) to utilize this template in producing a unique promotional CD. Since that time, other groups have used the template for similar projects. These include the University of Calgary English Language Program (ELP), the Department of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering and the Faculty of Nursing.
