When I was a zoology undergrad, a prof was talking about nematodes. “If you were to magically remove everything except nematodes,” he said, “you’d still be able to see the shape of every rock, field and mountain because of the thin film of nematodes that covers everything. Everything.”

Like Timmy’s cups, covering every damned square inch of Canada.
