Greg Ritter Returns!

This is welcome news indeed! Greg Ritter has returned from his long, long silence, and has begun blogging again! I’m guessing Greg found it easier to go underwater during the whole Bb IPO and WebCT shindigs, but now that those things have been dealt with maybe he’ll be able to blog more often.

Excellent news, Greg. I’d been keeping your old blog in my subscriptions Just In Case™ and have already subscribed to your new one.

Thanks to Scott and James for the heads-up on Ritter’s Return. Greg’s already hit the ground running with some great comments from Blackboard users about weblogs, wikis and podcasting.

To wit, the post you mention (about Bb users’ comments on weblogs, wikis, and podcasting) isn’t mine, but was written by one of my partners in edublogging crime, Adrian Alleyne.

Adrian does great work as Manager of Blackboard Communities, working with our regional user groups, running our Greenhouse Awards grant program, and keeping the Blackboard Connections (our open-to-everyone community site) hopping. .

He’s really connected to the Blackboard users, and I’m glad to be on the blogging team with him, so give credit where it’s due!

  2. Greg – the real story (for me) is that *you* are blogging again. If some other Bb folks are along for the ride, that’s cool too.

I noticed after publishing this post that the Educate/Innovate blog is a multi-author shindig, and that you weren’t the author of the post I linked to. Doh. I’ll fix that (and sorry, Adrian!)

  3. Yawn! Stretch! Time To Wake Up

Didn’t think you were ever gonna see another post here, didja? I’ve been on self-imposed hiatus for about a year and a half, but this site is still live, still gets hit from some random search queries, and (at least…
