early sunset, long angles, and layers of cloud combine to produce a gothic prairie sunset sky.

I usually practice with a pretty clean setting on the amp, but sometimes it’s just fun to flip it over to Insane and crank it up a bit. Evan picked up the ukulele and started jamming with me, too.

the pathway leading down from Silver Springs, toward the Bow River. This stretch of pathway was nicely strewn with drying leaves, making that awesome crunchcrunch sound that makes this time of year so much fun.

the first snowfall of the season, a little earlier than usual. thankfully, it won’t last long…

a bright neon standing pole in one of the newer trains on the northwest C-Train line. this was hopefully the last train ride I’ll be taking for some time, now that my bike is back out of the shop.

after mowing the lawn, I laid down on the trampoline in the back yard for a minute to rest. beautiful blue sky, framed by the black netting around the trampoline.
