a fun blast of white in a typical Calgary spring. thankfully, it melted enough for the ride home to be clear. tomorrow may be a different story. more on the way overnight. is it Vancouver o’clock yet?

another cold snap hit overnight. windchill at the bus stop this morning was -39˚C. It got colder throughout the day. I’m so fracking ready for spring.

bundled up for the ride home. the temperature didn’t climb above -20˚C today, so I needed all of my gear. I was toasty, though…

the bus out to Tuscany decided to skip a few, so there was close to 100 people huddled in the cold, waiting to get home.

the bowmont pathway is scraped nice and clear – the remaining packed snow gives good traction under studded tires, and the icy spots are flat enough to not be a problem. I’m getting used to winter riding again – riding with the feet clipped in for more of the ride, and working the rear brake more. fun stuff!
