deck season
we spent almost the entire day on the deck today. family came over for lunch, so we fired up the grill. stayed out until after supper (also grilled). awesome.

a giant cloud boiled up over the north end of the city. thankfully, skies were blue and clear (and extremely windy) where I was riding.

poplar fluff is thick in the air, coating the surface of the duck pond near campus.

smoke from the forest fires in northern alberta hangs over campus. about half of the major buildings on main campus are visible here.

I had a meeting at the Foothills campus this morning, getting me out of the office and into a beautiful summer day. Love it!
