I missed the weather, as it passed to the south of me. I wound up riding into some pretty strong headwinds, but stayed dry.

we went for a 10km ride around the neighbourhood this afternoon. when we got to the south edge, we stopped on a bluff overlooking the valley for a rest. the first thing Evan said was “hey! tim horton’s!” (someone had thoughtfully tossed a Tim’s cup there…)

I watched the sun reach down and light the tops of the golden poplars on the bottom of the bow river valley this morning. They lit up, reflecting the first rays of the day from the nuclear furnace.
