mass media outlets spent 67 quidjillion dollars trying to make Canadians care that “local” media outlets are having financial difficulties. Then, they come up with this level of genius to prove their relevance:

  1. I wish I knew what you were talking about. I decided I needed to leave a comment over at Lamb’s post reminding him how important the news of the day is, so the fact that your local paper is even soliciting feedback is encouraging. At the end of the day it should remind us all just how smart all of our fellow citizens are. also, note that they are limiting voting to once in a 24 hour period — that is really hard.

    1. this poll was on the website of a local AM radio station. You should see the comments on the local newspaper’s sites. makes me proud to be a calgarian. if, by proud, I mean “stroke-inducingly, ragingly angry and embarrassed at the depths sunken to by mouth breathing monster truck drivers”. Yay for pandering to the lowest common denominator for the sake of boosting pageviews and ratings…
