The flowers in the back garden are finally starting to look flowery…
golden morning
I’m not sure what these are (cinquefoil?) but they just blossommed en masse on the bluffs overlooking the Bow River. Lots of bright yellow spread along the pathway.
hibiscus resurrected
George’s hibiscus was nearly dead when we took it home from his condo. Janice nursed it back to health over the next couple of months, and this morning it blossomed its first flower.
biding time
the snow (!) should melt today, and things will turn green quickly. the crocuseses along Bowmont got a head start by popping out before this last (?) snowfall. Within 48 hours, the valley will begin turning lush green. Spring is here, it just doesn’t look springish at the moment…
botany awakes
