I had a nice walk after dropping The Boy™ off at a birthday party today. Wound up walking the last 5km of my regular commute route – it feels completely different at walking pace.

I experimented with converting my Canon XT into a pinhole camera by putting a hole through the case cap. I think the hole is a touch too large – I’ll play more with that.
the nearly microscopic aperture sure does show all the schmutz on the sensor, though… yuck.

7 blossoms on the hibiscus at the same time, with about a dozen queuing up for their shot at glory.

we didn’t have the energy to tend a vegetable garden in our back yard this year, so seeded it with assorted wildflowers instead. they’ve finally started to blossom in the last couple of weeks…
