Technology Developer
As the unit’s technology developer, Kevin builds web and mobile applications that support student learning. He is also responsible for identifying and experimenting with new learning technologies and how they can be implemented and adapted by the University of Calgary.
Kevin studied computer science at the University of Calgary, and prior to taking on his current role, worked in systems administration and video production. One of Kevin’s areas of interest is gamification, which involves using game concepts to motivate behaviour in non-game settings such as business or education. Kevin is also interested in mobile learning and is completing a certificate in mobile application development from the University of California, Irvine.
