Preparing a 3M National Teaching Fellowship Nomination: Revisiting Your Teaching Dossier

The 3M National Teaching Fellowship is a prestigious recognition that celebrates extraordinary teachers and exemplary educational leaders in the Canadian post-secondary environment. This session is part of an on-going series of gatherings to support potential 3M nominees and their nominators at the University of Calgary. The 3M nomination package includes emphases on both educational leadership and teaching.  In this third gathering, we will provide an opportunity for participants to engage in peer review of their teaching philosophies and the evidence that supports them.  Bring your teaching dossier, including a philosophy statement and evidence, to the session and plan to learn from others by engaging in peer review with your colleagues. You will leave the session with a vision of what your final teaching dossier for the 3M nomination package will look like and a plan for any revisions that you intend make.
